Physical characteristics	A colorless or light yellow viscous liquid with a density of 0.96g/cm3, a boiling point of 200-206 ℃/30mmHg, and a flash point of 27.8 ℃. It is easily soluble in ethanol, isopropanol, toluene, etc. It is flammable and hygroscopic, and decomposes into aluminum hydroxide and secondary butanol when exposed to water.
